Easter 2026: Buried for New Life

Luke 24:1-8; Colossians 3:1-4
1) The risen Jesus shatters hopeless expectations. (vs.1-5, John 10:10)2) The risen Jesus calls us to remember what is true. (vs.6-8)
- When feelings get loud, God's truth must get louder.
3) The risen Jesus gives His people a new life to live now. (Colossians 3:1-4)
Because He is risen:
- We have a new direction: "set your hearts on things above"
(Proverbs 3:5-6) - We have a new mindset: "set your minds on things above"
- We have a new identity: "you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God"
- We have a new future: "you also will appear with him in glory"
