Oakwood Students exists to create an environment where every student in the Enid area finds belonging…We believe Oakwood Students is that place for every student as they encounter Jesus and His church. We want students to know they’re loved and cared for. We want them to see that their identity is in Jesus and nothing else. Ultimately we want students not just to find a place to belong here at Oakwood Students; we want them to grow to know and love Jesus, to be in community with their Small Group, and to live like Jesus in their homes, schools, teams, and wherever they go!

Church Camps 2024

Middle School Camp 2024

Middle School Camp at Prairie View Christian Camp in Arkansas City, KS is a high energy week for students to engage with God through worship and teaching from God’s Word. It also gives students the chance to have fun with our youth group through many engaging outdoor activities and to connect with God and others through intentional large and small group time. Camp will be June 9th-14th, and is for students who will be in 6th-8th grade in the Fall of 2024.

CIY MOVE 2024

MOVE is a 5-day summer event designed for high school students to know Jesus better, deepen their relationships, and to be sent out to do Kingdom Work. Students at MOVE not only learn and worship together – they spend quality time with their church youth groups, discovering ways that God will use them to impact the world. This year OSM will be attending MOVE in Siloam Springs, AR at John Brown University July 15th-19th.

Sunday Morning Experience

IMG_7870.JPG

What's it like?

Each weekend your students will experience worship in two different formats.  At 9:00 am runs like a traditional Sunday School.  Students will experience Biblical teaching and activities through video based teaching and group discussion. At 10:30 am we have our second service with the rest of the church body. They can either sit with their family or sit with our youth group in the front left group of pews.

Wednesday Night Experience

What's it like?

Wednesday nights at OSM are split into 2 sections: Large Group and Small Groups. Large Group is designed to create opportunities for memorable moments, engaging worship, solid biblical teaching, and chances to respond to the Gospel. We connect relevant Scripture with our students’ everyday lives and issues, so they can learn how to respond as a follower of Jesus. Students are always encouraged to invite friends to join them! Small Groups are gender and age specific groups that students meet in after Large Group time a few of our adult leaders to discuss the teaching from the night. We don’t ever want a student to stay anonymous in our ministry, so we surround them with other students and leaders who know their name and their story. Small Groups are huge for us because we truly believe that learning and growing together leads to more healthy, Christ-filled lives!
