Encounters With Jesus [Part 1] What Would You Do for Living Water?

John 4:7-19, 25-42

1) Jesus interrupts your hiding with grace. He sees your reality and still comes close. (vs. 7-9)

      • Grace doesn’t shout from a distance. It sits on the edge of your well. Shame isolates, but Jesus initiates.

2) What you crave won’t cure you because what you want isn’t what you need. (vs. 10-15)

      • Temporary fixes never satisfy eternal thirst. (Jeremiah 2:13)

3) Jesus goes for the root, not the optics. He confronts sin without crushing sinners. (vs. 16-19)

      • Jesus will touch the spot you avoid, not to expose you, but to release you. (Hebrews 4:13; Romans 5:8)

      • Jesus confronts to heal, not to humiliate.

4) Changed people become contagious people when Jesus enters your story and turns your life. (vs. 25-42; Acts 1:8)
