- Oakwood has a commitment, a long legacy, of reaching families and young people,
kids and students. (Psalm 127:3-4 NLT)
- Our children have to be aimed, carefully and with precision and accuracy and skill,
at their intended target.
- The target is JESUS.
- Deuteronomy 11:18-21 (NIV)
- As adults, whether you have kids or not, we have the responsibility of
“walking and talking with young people.
- Hebrews 13:5 (NIV)
To Students:
- Begin building the kind of family you want one day, today.
- Ephesians 6:1-3 (NLT)
- Be the kind of kid you want to have one day.
- Don’t try to get from anyone or anything what you can only get from Jesus.
To Everyone Else:
- The church, as God designed it, is the solid foundation, with Jesus as the cornerstone, that
helps God’s people navigate this world.
- Acts 2:42-47 (NLT)
- We need you, and you need us.
