Luke 1:26-38; Matthew 1:18-25
1) Sometimes when God shows up, fear flares up.
- God’s call often intensifies your fears before it calms them.
2) God’s answer to fear is not a gameplan; it’s His presence.
- We keep asking God for explanations. He keeps giving us Immanuel, God with us.
- Presents promise escape. Presence promises endurance.
3) Faith is choosing obedience when you don’t have all the details.
- Faith = obedience under uncertainty because you trust who is with you.
4) God doesn’t wait for your fear to disappear; He speaks His presence straight into your fear. (1 John 1:9)
5) Your hope isn’t a life without fear; it’s hope in God who’s always with you.
CONCLUSION: I’d rather step into the unknown with God than stay in the familiar without Him.
