Numbers 14:1-9, 26-45

1) When fear drives you instead of faith, you will resist the ways of God. (vs.26-35)

Israel feared the people of the land more than they revered the Lord.
What has God already made clear that I keep delaying because fear feels safer than trust?

2) Regret over consequences is not the same as repentance before God. (vs.39-40)

3) You cannot follow God faithfully and always be on your timetable. (vs.40-45)

Real obedience means trusting God's word in God's timing.
Biblical obedience is not: selective, delayed, partial, or only when it's convenient.
Biblical obedience is trusting and submitting to the word of God when He gives it.
God is not honored by eventual interest. He is honored by present surrender.
