- We all share one calling. (Ephesians 4:1-6)
- We each have a part in the work of God’s Kingdom. (Ephesians 4:11-16)
- When you move from attending to serving, you aren’t merely meeting a ministry need, you are answering the call of Jesus. You are declaring:
1) Jesus, count me in... to serve You. (Colossians 3:23; Matthew 25:40)
- There’s no insignificant service in the Kingdom of God.
2) Jesus, count me in... to help build your church. (Ephesians 5:25; 1 Corinthians 12:27)
3) Jesus, count me in...to invest in the next generation. (Psalm 78:4)
4) Jesus, count me in...to welcome people who aren’t here yet. (Luke 19:10)
- We must never become so comfortable with who is here that we stop preparing for who is not here yet.
5) Jesus, count me in...to grow and mature spiritually.
- Serving moves faith from theory to practice.
- God’s plan for His Church includes every believer doing their part.
