Bible Study & Meditation

Psalm 119, Matthew 4:4, Jeremiah 15:16, Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:1-3

1) Begin each day feeding on Scripture. Make it your daily bread, not just a snack for emergencies.

Matthew 4:4
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”

Jeremiah 15:16
When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty.

2) Meditation is not about emptying the mind but filling it with God’s truth. It’s
about reflecting deeply, allowing the Word to shape your life.

Joshua 1:8
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

 Meditation is not about speed but about savoring.

3) You will only benefit from making Bible study and meditation a priority and
rhythm in your daily life.

Psalm 1:1-3
[1] Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, [2] but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. [3] That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.

 For the growing Christian, knowing Scripture is not a chore or duty; it’s a
source of blessing.
