Middle School Fall Retreat

For our MS Fall Retreat, we will be attending "Getaway" at Ozark Christian College. Getaway is a weekend event for middle school students in grades 6-8. Getaway challenges youth to pursue life on mission with God, practice Christian service, and build Christian character at a young age. Getaway also recruits more workers for the harvest field, engaging them in Ozark’s mission to train for Christian service.

 WHEN:
September 26th-28th, 2025

WHERE:
Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO

 COST:
- $100 through August 26th (This covers the event, an event t-shirt, hotel for Friday and Saturday night, and the trampoline park on Saturday evening.)
- The price will go up to $120 and will NOT include a t-shirt starting August 27th.
- Students can use their account funds after the $25 deposit.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
- We will leave at 3pm on Friday the 26th. So students will need to get out of school early that day.
- We will attend church in Joplin on Sunday morning, and then return to Oakwood by 5pm.
- Students will need money for 2 fast food meals on the road (Friday dinner, and Sunday lunch). All other meals are covered.
- Students will be staying 4 to a room in a 2 queen bed standard hotel room. They will NOT be staying in rooms with adults. Our volunteers will be in separate rooms on the same floor.
